In todays economy we understand that finances are rough on everyone. For that reason we accept and are preferred providers for many different insurances. We also offer financing and payment options for those who qualify. We want to work together to provide exceptional eyecare to everyone.

Optical Department

Welcome to our Optical Department!
Upon first arrival you’ll notice a large spacious area, with over 1000 frames on hand to browse through. We invite you to come and view our selection of merchandise; our store is hands on and hassle free, so try on as many frames as you want with out the worry of pesky sales-persons.
If you need some advice, are ready to order, or maybe need a second opinion on a frame; one of our 3 opticians are prepared to help you with all of your Optical needs. Our Optical department is first come-first serve, please sign up on the clipboard provided at the office to talk to one of our Opticians. If you are on a tight schedule please feel free to call ahead to check availability.

Opticians:

Louise Wilda , Optical Department Manager, is state licensed in North Carolina and is certified through the American Board of Opticianry. She has 30 years of experience as an Optician.

Karen Gassner, Optician, is certified through the American Board of Opticianry. She has 24 years of experience as an Optician.

Jennifer Hillyer, Optician, is working towards her Optician certification. She has been with Vita Park Eye associates for 2 years and was previously with Hendrix Eye Care, she has a total of 8 years of experience as an Optician.

We use, sell & recommend the highest quality frames and lenses. We wear what we sell! We offer our patients free adjustments and cleanings, and most repairs can be done in office.

Contact Lenses:

Contact lenses are offered in many different brands, colors & prices to make them obtainable to those who need them. Not every contact lens is wearable by every person; your contact lens must be fit and prescribed to your eye. At your eye exam you will be given a contact lens prescription which is valid for 1 year from your exam date. We offer some contact lenses in stock, but most need to be ordered out from our distributer. See below for a list of the contact lenses we offer and their cost.
